Sant Tukaram Maharaj, a famous saint of Varkari sect. He wrote more than 1000 Abhangas. Many followers believe that Saint Tukaram was the reincarnation of Lord Krishna’s brother “Uddhava” to save the world. Tukaram Maharaj was a spiritual Vitthal devotee and eminent social reformer saint. Tukaram Maharaj was born into a middle class family in Dehu in the 1600s. He became so engrossed in Vitthal Bhakti that he had to face many hardships in his worldly and family life.
संत तुकाराम महाराज, वारकरी संप्रदायातील एक प्रसिद्ध संत. त्यांनी 1000 हून अधिक अभंग लिहिले. अनेक अनुयायी असे मानतात की संत तुकाराम हा भगवान कृष्णाचा भाऊ “उद्धव” यांचा जग उद्धारासाठी घेतलेला पुनर्जन्म अवतार होता. तुकाराम महाराज हे आध्यात्मिक विठ्ठल भक्त आणि प्रख्यात समाज सुधारक संत होते. 1600 च्या दशकात देहू येथील एका मध्यम वर्गीय कुटुंबात तुकाराम महाराजांचा जन्म झाला. विठ्ठल भक्तीत ते इतके रममाण झाले की संसार आणी कौटुंबिक जीवनात त्यांना बरेच कठीण प्रसंगांना तोंड द्यावे लागले.
With unceasing devotion to Panduranga, he created thousands of Abhangas. In every place they started to see Pandurang. And the whole life became blissful like the Abhanga of “Anandache Dohi Anand Tarang”. According to a legend, Sri Vitthal himself i.e. Lord Vishnu took Tukaram Maharaja to Vaikuntha on a Garuda to finally meet him.
पांडुरंगाच्या अविरत भक्ती त्यांनी हजारो अभंगाची निर्मिती केली. प्रतेक जागी त्यांना पांडुरंग दिसू लागले. आणी संपूर्ण आयुष्य “आनंदाचे डोही आनंद तरंग” या अभंगा प्रमाणे आनंददायी झाले. एका आख्यायिकेनुसार शेवटी त्यांना भेटण्यासाठी प्रत्यक्ष श्री विठ्ठल म्हणजेच भगवान विष्णु गरुडावर बसुन तुकाराम महाराजांना वैकुंठात घेऊन गेले.

देहू ही पूर्वी धर्मपीठ म्हणुन ओळखली जाणारी नगरी. ज्यामधे तुकाराम महाराज यांच्या आध्यात्मिक कार्यामुळे अधिक नावारूपाला आली. आणी त्याचे रूपांतर एका महत्त्वाच्या तीर्थक्षेत्रात झाले. इंद्रायणी नदीच्या काठावर वसलेले हे तीर्थ तीर्थक्षेत्र तेथील तुकाराम महाराजांचे मंदिर १७व्या शतकातील आहे. अनेक भाविक येथे श्रद्धा भावाने भेटीस येतात. दर आषाढी आणी कार्तिकी या एकादशी दरम्यान संत ज्ञानेश्वर यांच्या सोबत संत तुकाराम याची पालखी मिरवणूक ही श्री विठ्ठल दर्शनाला पंढरपूरला जाते. हजारो लोक या पदयात्रेला पायी प्रवास करतात याला varkari संप्रदायात वारी असे संबोधले जाते
देहू तुकाराम महाराज मंदिर हे 400 वर्ष जुने मंदिर आहे आणि मूळतः तुकारामांच्या शिष्यांनी बांधले होते, ज्यांनी त्यांच्या मृत्यूनंतर त्यांच्या शिकवणींचे पालन केले. 1787 मध्ये, एक सुंदर तीन मजली मंदिर बांधले गेले, परंतु दुर्दैवाने, नदीच्या पुराच्या पाण्याने ते नष्ट झाले. तथापि, नंतर संरचना पुनर्बांधणी करण्यात आली आणि तेव्हापासून ती उंच उभी आहे. मंदिराचा आतील भाग संत आणि इतर हिंदू देवतांच्या सुंदर प्रतिमांनी सुशोभित आहे
Personal Experience
I visited this place while my Pune and Alandi bike solo ride. I started from Mumbai early in the morning. I took short a tea break at Lonavala after that I crossed almost 35 km on old Mumbai Pune highway then I took left turn on Dehu Road it’s just 8 km from away from Dehu Temple.
I parked my bike in the parking area. It’s super hot surface and road. I entered from the main gate. I saw a beautiful Temple in front of me. Milky white color temple, Two decorative Elephant kept both sides of Temple size of elephants is just like a real elephant. Decorate with golden color.
When I entered in temple, I saw Tukaram Maharaj statue In the middle of the temple, It’s a Vaikunth Gaman scene. Where the Pandurag( Lord Vishnu) came to earth with their vahan Eagle to take Sant Tukaram to Vaikuntha Dham. A very big Statue of Tukaram Maharaj with an Eagle.
In this temple, Architect embossed Almost 1000 Abhang of Tukaram Maharaj on the white marble wall. On the first floor we saw small temples of Lord Vitthal and Rukmini. It’s a wonderful experience for me.
Free food facility available at the temple a separate building near the temple. Many people take this food as a Mahaprasad. Mahaprasad time is around 12:00 am to 2:00 pm.
How to reach Dehu.
देहू तुकाराम महाराज मंदिर हे महाराष्ट्रातील पुणे जिल्ह्यात पुण्यापासून २० किमी अंतरावर आहे. पुण्याहून शहराच्या कोणत्याही भागातून टॅक्सी किंवा ऑटो रिक्षाने मंदिरापर्यंत सहज पोहोचता येते.
