On the way to Pratapgad – Travel Guide

While Solo bike ride I choose two different routes. I started from Mumbai late at night via Mumbai – Goa highway, reached Mangaon at 12:30am and stayed at my friends place at Mangaon, Because I want to explore Ambenali Ghat – Pass in the early morning.

सोलो बाईक राईड करताना मी दोन भिन्न मार्ग निवडतो. मी रात्री उशिरा मुंबईहून मुंबई – गोवा महामार्गाने निघालो, 12:30 वाजता माणगावला पोहोचलो आणि माणगाव येथे माझ्या मित्रांच्या ठिकाणी थांबलो, कारण मला पहाटे आंबेनळी घाट – पास पहायचा आहे.

Ambenali Ghat – Pratapgad bike ride

I started from the mangaon at 5:15 am, while riding I capture many beautiful movements and photos. मी माणगाव येथून पहाटे ५:१५ ला सुरुवात केली, सायकल चालवताना मी अनेक सुंदर हालचाली आणि फोटो टिपले.

We reached near Poladpur and turned right towards Ambenli ghat, after a short while the ghat started. The deepening valley of the ghat was very beautiful and the surroundings were amazing at sunrise. At one turn, I saw a peacock in front of me. It was a wonderful and wonderful experience. This ghat is one of the western ghats and is close to Satara and Raigad forests. As soon as the ghat is completed, the road to Pratapgad comes. From there you can turn right and go to Pratapgad fort. There is a hotel on the left.

While returning, I choose Pune route to cover panchgani, wai. Pune. परत येताना, मी पाचगणी, वाई कव्हर करण्यासाठी पुण्याचा मार्ग निवडतो. पुणे मार्गे मुंबईला पोहोचलो.

There are two main ways to reach Pratapgad from Mumbai.
- 1) Mumbai Goa highway via Poladpur Ambenali ghat. = 209 km
- 2) Mumbai Bangalore highway via Satara wai. = 280 km.

If you more interesting watching fort than you can cover Raigad and Pratapgad fort in one go. Via poladpur Ambelani Ghat.
