हिरोजी इंदुलकर हे रायगडचे शिल्पकार आहेत. त्यांनी जेव्हा हा किल्ला बांधून पूर्ण केला आणि त्यावेळी शिवाजी महाराजांनी त्यांना विचारले. या निर्मितीसाठी आणि सेवेसाठी आपल्याला किती पैसे द्यावे लागतील. तेव्हा अतिशय नम्रपणे हिरोजी यांनी आगळी वेगळी मागणी केली. ती अशी की, मंदिराच्या तळाच्या पायरीवर माझे नाव दिले जावे. जेथे शिवाजी महाराज दररोज सकाळी प्रार्थना करतात. जेणेकरून शिवाजी महाराजांचा पदस्पर्श हिरोजी इंदुलकर यांच्या नाव रुपी मस्तकाला सदैव होत राहो. त्या वेळी छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी त्याच्या कामाबद्दल आणि त्याच्या स्वामिभक्ती बद्दल गुणगौरव केला.
One more unknown fact about Raigad. As you know we all respect Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but we did any things to maintain this fort. We salute the “Sangali” District for their efforts and loyalty toward Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Every day one person starts from Sangali spent their own money for traveling, Sangali to Raigad climb the 1700+ staircase and Visit, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue and Samadhi and Fill the lamp with oil Tourn on lamps. He starts their return journey. What a dedication and Respect for Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Personal Experience
I visited Raigad with my 3 friends. We started from Mumbai early morning with the help of public transport till Mahad after that we use a share auto 8 sitter. It’s noise like a gun machine we enjoy total ride till Raigad base.
After that, there are two options on is to climb two things to do
1) Steps approximate more 1700 +
2) Rope way from other side.
We select the Ropeway option, Near the ropeway ticket counter, we saw a small museum. We like that very much is a total overview of forts and how much cost involve to build.
आम्ही रोपवे चा पर्याय निवडला, रोपवे तिकीट काउंटरजवळ, आम्ही एक लहान संग्रहालयास भेट दिली. संग्रहालयात खूप महत्त्वाची माहीती, मराठी साम्राज्यातील इतर किल्ल्यांचे एकूण इतिहास आणि बांधण्यासाठी किती खर्च आला हे सर्व काही नमूद केले आहे. हे पाहून आमचा आनंद गगनात मावेनासा झाला.

जर तुम्ही कोणत्याही राजाची तुलना छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराजांशी केली तर तुम्हाला कळेल की अनेक राजे त्यांच्या एका मुक्कामासाठी, महाल बांधण्यासाठी आणि त्यांची जीवनशैली सुधारण्यासाठी आपला निधी खर्च करत. शिवाजी महाराजांनी सामान्य जनतेच्या सुरक्षिततेसाठी त्यांचा पैसा अधिक खर्च केला किंवा गुंतवला. गड किल्ले यांची निर्मिती आणी डागडुजी यांमुळे स्वराज्याचे खरे रक्षण करणे साध्य होते.

We saw Takmak tok as a punishment point for (Gaddar) Traitor. We enjoyed a local food “Jhunka & Bhakri” with Onion.
