A Story of Konkan – Parshuram Bhumi / कोकणची कथा – परशुराम भूमी
After donating the earth. Lord Parshuram decided not to live on the donated land. And they came near the sea. Sagaras told them to go back so that some land could be given to Parashuram to live. He gave Sagara a day to think about it.
पृथ्वी दान केल्यानंतर. भगवान परशुरामांनी ठरवले की, दान केलेल्या भुमि वर राहायचे नाही असे ठरवले. आणी ते सागरा जवळ आले. Sagaras त्यांनी मागे जाण्यास सांगितले जेणेकरून काही जमीन परशुराम यांना वास्तव्यास मिळू शकले. यावर विचार करण्यासाठी त्यांनी सागरास एक दिवसाचा वेळ दिला.

The next day Lord Parshuram approached the ocean (sea) and asked again, are you ready to retreat or are you ready for war? As soon as Lord Parshuram took the bow and released the arrow, the bow of the squeaky sound became bad. Meanwhile, the arrow released from the bow is so powerful and fast that it covers a distance of more than 700 kilometers. As promised, the ocean withdrew its water from the area where the arrow reached and the place was named as Parashuram Bhumi “Konkan”.

Personal experience – स्वतःचा अनुभव
During our Dapoli bike ride we visited this place, as usual, it was a one night bike ride. My friend Sameer and I took our bikes and started our journey from Mumbai. We chose the Mumbai-Goa highway and reached Dapoli in the morning. We then headed towards Burundi, the land of Parshuram, 11 km from Dapoli. The traffic in Dapoli was a bit of a mistake. And we both chose different paths. Sameer first took a left turn and proceeded to the road which was at the very foot of the hill. I went up the hill and took another left turn. We both met together near the statue of Lord Parashurama.

When I park my bike and entered from main gate I saw The Statue of Lord Parshuram in Copper colors, mounts on earth Globe 🌎 Which indicates his ownership on earth. The small museum inside the earth glob design. This location is located on hill top. So the view from this place is very beautiful. One side we saw a blue sea view and other side green mountain. Good sitting arrangement a best architecture with unique designer steps. Brown color tiles on the floor. the side wall is made by a brown Stone.
