हे नाशिक आणि सापुतारा जवळचे राखीव जंगल आहे. हे ठिकाण त्यांच्या वन्यजीव आणि निसर्गरम्य दृश्यासाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. त्यामुळे हे खास निसर्ग आणि साहसप्रेमींसाठी एक पर्यटन स्थळ बनले आहे.

This wildlife sanctuary is situated around the Purna River. So it’s called Purna wildlife sanctuary. it’s full of nature and dark forest which is beneficial for wildlife so many animals live around this forest areas for example 🦌 deer, leopard, Tiger, bear many snakes and anaconda and many others wildlife animals.

हे वन्यजीव अभयारण्य पूर्णा नदीच्या आसपास वसलेले आहे.म्हणून याला पूर्णा वन्यजीव अभयारण्य म्हणतात. हे निसर्ग आणि गडद जंगलाने परिपूर्ण आहे जे वन्यजीवांसाठी फायदेशीर आहे त्यामुळे या वनक्षेत्राच्या आसपास अनेक प्राणी राहतात उदाहरणार्थ 歷 हरण, बिबट्या, वाघ, अनेक साप आणि अॅनाकोंडा आणि इतर अनेक वन्यजीव प्राणी.

Route plan

We visited this place during our Mumbai to Saputara bike ride. My friend Vilas and I both left Mumbai. This time we chose the Mumbai-Agra highway. We took several stops. Thane – Kasara Ghat – Igatpuri Reached Nashik. After Nashik we turn to Nashik Wani – Nanduri – Chanakapur Dam via Arjunsagar Dam to reach the Wildlife Sanctuary.

आम्ही आमच्या मुंबई ते सापुतारा बाईक राईड दरम्यान या ठिकाणी भेट दिली. मी आणि माझा मित्र विलास आम्ही दोघेही मुंबईहून निघालो. यावेळी जाताना आम्ही मुंबई-आग्रा हायवे निवडला. आम्ही अनेक स्टॉप घेत. ठाणे – कसारा घाट – इगतपुरी नाशिक पर्यंत पोहोचलो. नाशिक नंतर आम्ही नाशिक वणी मार्गे वळतो – नांदुरी – चणकापूर धरण मार्गे अर्जुनसागर धरण या रस्त्याने आम्ही वन्यजीव अभयारण्यात पोहोचलो.

Amazing view of Purna wildlife sanctuary bike ride

Our journey was through a very scenic place. During the journey we crossed many rivers, dams and mountain ranges. This time we had to cross the Maharashtra-Gujarat border through a small ghat area, which was a very small ghat seven to ten kilometers. But riding a bike in the dense forest was a different experience. Our trip was becoming an adventure trip

आमचा प्रवास अगदी निसर्गरम्य ठिकाण यांमधून होता. प्रवासादरम्यान आम्ही अनेक नद्या, धरण धरणे आणि आणि पर्वत रांगा पार केल्या. यावेळी आम्हाला महाराष्ट्र गुजरात सीमा ओलांडताना एका छोट्या घाट भागातून जावे लागले, हा घाट अगदी लहान सात ते दहा किलोमीटर असा होता. पण गर्द वनराई मध्ये बाईक चालवताना एक वेगळीच अनुभूती आली. आमची ट्रीप एक एडवेंचर ट्रीप बनत चालली होती.

Some time later we spotted a one check post with two guards. Now we realize that this is a reserved forest. The ghat started as soon as we crossed the check post. The ghat was a steep road with sharp curves. It has a rainy weather and drizzle. The thrill of our journey was growing. In some places, the forest was so dense that even direct sunlight could not reach us. So it took us about 30 minutes to cross this small ghat. Because such a scenic place was captivating us as a memory in our eyes

काही वेळानंतर आम्हाला दोन रक्षकांसह एक वन चेक पोस्ट नजरेस पडले. आता आम्हाला कळून चुकले की ही एक राखीव जंगल आहे. चेकपोस्ट पार करताच घाट सुरु झाला. हा घाट अगदी निमुळत्या रस्त्याचा आणि तीक्ष्ण वळणा-वळणांचा होता. त्यामध्ये पावसाचे वातावरण आणि रिमझिम पडणारा पाऊस. आमच्या प्रवासाचे थ्रील अजून वाढत होता. काही जागी तर हे जंगल एवढे घनदाट होते की थेट सूर्यप्रकाश देखील आमच्यापर्यंत पोहोचू शकत नव्हता. त्यामुळे हा छोटा घाट पार करायला आम्हाला जवळपास 30 मिनिटे लागली. कारण ते इतके निसर्गरम्य ठिकाण आम्हाला आमच्या डोळ्यांत आठवणीच्या रूपात कैद सामावून घेत होतो.

The distance from Don Hill to Purna Wildlife Sanctuary is about 50 km. And this road is very beautiful and full of dense forest. Many times the forest is so dark that we are going inside a green natural tunnel. It feels like that. Many old trees can be seen on this road

डॉन हिल ते पूर्णा वन्यजीव अभयारण्य सुमारे ५० किमी अंतर आहे. आणि हा मार्ग अतिशय सुंदर आणि गर्द जंगलाने भरलेला आहे. अनेक वेळा जंगल इतके गडद होते की आपण एखाद्या हिरव्या नैसर्गिक बोगद्याच्या आत जात आहोत. असा आभास होतो. अनेक जुनी झाडं या रस्त्यात आपल्याला दृष्टीस पडतात.

Camping at Purna wildlife sanctuary

The camping site is available, Its a Joint venture of Gujarat tourisms and North Dang forest division, Ahwa. They named this site Eco tourism Campsite – Mahal. so they organized many adventure sports and live experience to leave with wildlife. Camping site is around 2 km inside the forest and they have private road to reach Camping site. You have to book in advance for camping and local guide and guardian.

येथे कॅम्पिंग साइट उपलब्ध आहे, गुजरात पर्यटन आणि उत्तर डांग वन विभाग, अहवा यांचा हा संयुक्त उपक्रम आहे. त्यांनी या साइटला इको टुरिझम कॅम्पसाईट – महाल असे नाव दिले. म्हणून त्यांनी येथे अनेक साहसी खेळांचे आयोजन केले आणि वन्यजीवांसह जाण्यासाठी थेट अनुभव घेतला. कॅम्पिंग साइट जंगलाच्या आत सुमारे 2 किमी आहे आणि त्यांना कॅम्पिंग साइटवर जाण्यासाठी खाजगी रस्ता आहे. कॅम्पिंग आणि स्थानिक मार्गदर्शक आणि पालकांसाठी तुम्हाला आगाऊ बुकिंग करावे लागेल.
