History – Castle of Pachad – पाचाड चा वाडा

The construction of the Pachad fort was made by Shivaraya for his mother. Raigad is the second capital of the Swarajya. Pachad is small village located at the foothill of Raigad.

पाचाड किल्ल्याचे बांधकाम शिवरायांनी आपल्या आईसाठी केले होते. रायगड ही स्वराज्याची दुसरी राजधानी आहे. रायगडाच्या पायथ्याशी असलेले पाचाड हे छोटेसे गाव.

वयोमानामुळे रायगडचे हवामान राजमाता जिजाबाईंच्या प्रकृतीला त्रास देऊ लागले. त्यामुळे छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी रायगड येथूनच पाचाडचा वाडा बांधण्यास सुरुवात केली. या ठिकाणी राणी पुतळाबाई यांच्यासोबत जिजामातेचे अडीच वर्षे वास्तव्य होते. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज घंटानाद करा. दररोज ठराविक वेळी घंटा वाजते म्हणून तो आपल्या आईच्या दर्शनासाठी रायगड किल्ल्याच्या बुरुजावर आला.

Personal Experience – Travel guide

On the way to Pachad

I have visited this place during my Mumbai to Kashedi Ghat motorcycle ride. This time I chose a slightly different path. I started from Mumbai and reached Pachad via Mangaon – Nijampur route On my way I visited Kumbhe Falls.

आम्ही आमच्या मुंबई ते कशेडी घाट मोटरसायकल राईड दरम्यान या ठिकाणी भेट दिली आहे. यावेळी मी थोडा वेगळा मार्ग निवडला. मी मुंबईहून सुरुवात केली आणि माणगाव-निजामपूर मार्गे पाचाडला पोहोचलो. वाटेत कुंभे धबधबा पाहिला.

Since it was raining so the surrounding area was covered with lush green forests. There of a beautiful view of nature Pleasure to see. While passing through this new route, many ghats were seen.

पाऊस पडत असल्याने आजूबाजूचा परिसर हिरव्यागार जंगलांनी व्यापलेला होता. निसर्गाचे नयनरम्य दृश्य पाहण्याचा एक वेगळाच आनंद मिळतो. या नवीन मार्गावरून जाताना अनेक घाट दिसले.

पाचाडचा वाडा सध्या जीर्ण अवस्थेत असला तरी, त्यावेळच्या भक्कम बांधकामामुळे तो आजही सुस्थितीत उभा आहे. त्यातील वेगवेगळी मांडणी आपण पाहू शकतो तो सुरेख आणि मजबूत वास्तुकलेचा नमुना आहे.

The fort is just a kilometer away from the monument and is easily visible from the road Be sure to visit this building after coming to Raigad.

किल्ला स्मारकापासून फक्त एक किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे आणि रस्त्याने सहज दिसतो रायगडावर आल्यावर या वास्तूला नक्की भेट द्या.

Renovation work of the monument and was has started under the supervision of the Archaeological Department. I saw the craftsman embodying the stone. Therefore, I hoped that this fort will come to the Former term in the future. The legacy of history will be passed on to our next generation.

या स्मारकाच्या नूतनीकरणाचे काम पुरातत्व विभागाच्या देखरेखीखाली सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. कारागीर दगडाला मूर्त रूप देत असल्याचे मी पाहिले. त्यामुळे भविष्यात हा गड पूर्वपदावर येईल, अशी अपेक्षा व्यक्त केली. इतिहासाचा वारसा आपल्या पुढच्या पिढीपर्यंत जाईल.
