Personal experience and Bike ride Chankapur
We visited this place while my bike ride Purva wield life. We started from Mumbai after office time and chose Mumbai – Agra highway via the Nashik route. Road conditions are super till Nashik after that some crack road Vani Sapatashrungi Devi mandir is on the way in between Nashik and Saputara.
आम्ही आमच्या सापुतारा बाईक राईड दरम्यान आम्ही या ठिकाणी भेट दिली. ऑफिसच्या वेळेनंतर मुंबईहून निघालो आणि नाशिक मार्गे मुंबई-आग्रा हायवे निवडला. नाशिक ते सापुतारा दरम्यान वणी सप्तशृंगी देवी मंदिर या मार्गावरून काही अंतरावर चाणकापूर धबधबा आणी धरण आहे. येथील रस्ता थोडा खराब आहे.
We stop there, but it’s 1:30 am so we are unable to visit Saptashrungi gad at that time. So we moved forward now we feel a bit sleepy. so we start searching places for Camping.
आम्ही सप्तशृंगीगड येथे थांबलो, त्यावेळी रात्रीचे 1:30 वाजले होते त्यामुळे आम्ही त्या वेळी सप्तशृंगी गडाला भेट देऊ शकलो नाही. आणी आम्ही पुढे निघालो आता आम्हाला थोडी झोप येत होती. म्हणून आम्ही कॅम्पिंगसाठी जागा शोधू लागतो.
Camping near Chankapur Dam
Finally, we got a place, it’s near to one village. It’s night so nothing was visible. So we set our tent and park our bikes in front and back of the tent for extra safety and security. It’s an amazing experience.

We use our tent to stay and take a rest Just 22 km away from Saputara. It’s a memorable moment. The surrounding nature is so beautiful and the air comes with cold weaves so it’s the best adventures place for Us.

In the morning, we wake up and checked Gps. We surprise because we were just behind Chankapur Dam. We start our bikes and move towards Chankapur Dam. Which is just 5 minutes distance from our camping point.
सकाळी, आम्ही उठलो आणि Gps तपासले. आम्ही चणकापूर धरणाच्या मागे होतो म्हणून आश्चर्यचकित होतो. आम्ही आमच्या बाईक स्टार्ट करून चणकापूर धरणाकडे निघालो. जे आमच्या कॅम्पिंग पॉईंटपासून फक्त 5 मिनिटांच्या अंतरावर आहे.

When we reached Chankapur Dam, we saw a very scenic view, a beautiful lake full of water like blue color ink spread on the ground. and panoramic view of green Mountain just behind the lake and Steep valley along with the dam. One road going through the water.
चाणकापूर धरणावर पोहोचल्यावर एक अतिशय निसर्गरम्य नजारा दिसला, निळ्या रंगाच्या शाई जमिनीवर पसरावी त्या सारख्या पाण्याने भरलेला सुंदर तलाव. आणि तलावाच्या अगदी मागे असलेल्या हिरव्यागार डोंगराचे विहंगम दृश्य आणि धरणासोबतच खडी दरी. एक पूल त्या पाण्यातून जाताना. निसर्गाचे अप्रतिम सौंदर्य आम्हास पाहता आले.
