Bhivpuri waterfall is one of the famous and nearest waterfalls from Mumbai. Located near Karjat and Bhivpuri road station. Nearer to Matheran hill station. Overall nature is very beautiful it’s become tourist attractions and weekends getaway. This blog will help you as a travel guide to plan your trip to Bhivpuri.

भिवपुरी धबधबा हा मुंबई जवळील प्रसिद्ध आणि जवळच्या धबधब्यांपैकी एक आहे. कर्जत आणि भिवपुरी रोड स्टेशन जवळ आहे. माथेरान हिल स्टेशन पासून अवघ्या 10 किलोमीटर अंतरावर असलेले निसर्गरम्य ठिकाण आणी पर्यटकांचे आकर्षण ठरलेला भिवपुरी धबधबा हा शनिवार व रविवार वीकेंड घालवण्यासाठी महत्त्वाचे ठिकाण बनले आहेत.

Personal experience – Travel Guide

We have visited this place many times, sharing our experience of office trip from Mumbai to Bhivapuri. We planned a total trip for our rainy day trip with minibus, breakfast and lunch all the necessary arrangements.

आम्ही या ठिकाणी अनेकदा भेट दिली आहे, त्यातिल आमच्या मुंबई ते भिवपुरीच्या ऑफिस ट्रिपचा अनुभव आपल्या बरोबर शेअर करत आहे. आम्ही आमच्या पावसाळी सहली साठी मिनीबस, न्याहारी आणि जेवण सर्व आवश्यक व्यवस्थेसह एकूण सहलीचे नियोजन केले.

We started from Mumbai at 7 am. As the bus was moving, we Spoke out loudly to Ganapatibappa Morya together and start our Antakshari program A lot of new singers appeared among us. Everyone enjoyed it very much.

आम्ही सकाळी ७ वाजता मुंबईहून निघालो. बस पुढे जात असताना, आम्ही एकत्र गणपतीबाप्पा मोरयाचा जयघोष केला आणि आमचा अंताक्षरी कार्यक्रम सुरू केला, आमच्यामध्ये बरेच नवीन गायक दिसले. सगळ्यांना खूप मज्जा आली.

On The way to Bhivpuri waterfall

On the way we chose Mumbai-Pune route so we decided to make our first stop Varadavinayak Ashtavinayak Mandir Mahad. After stopping our bus in the parking lot, we headed towards Ganesh Mandir. Everyone was so excited. We performed Aarti in the temple. And after the darshan, we headed to Bhivapuri Falls, the place of our trip. We had brought our breakfast from Mumbai. So we delivered it to the bus to save our time wasted in the hotel.

जाताना आम्ही मुंबई पुणे मार्ग निवडला म्हणून आम्ही आमचा पहिला थांबा वरदविनायक अष्टविनायक मंदिर महाड ठरवला. आमची बस पार्किंगमध्ये उभी केल्यानंतर गणेश मंदिराच्या दिशेने निघालो. प्रत्येकजण खूप उत्साही होते. आम्ही मंदिरात आरती केली. आणी दर्शनानंतर, आम्ही आमच्या सहलीचे ठिकाण भिवपुरी धबधब्याकडे निघालो. आम्ही आमचा नाश्ता मुंबईहून आणला होता. त्यामुळे हॉटेलमध्ये वाया जाणाराआमचा वेळ वाचवण्यासाठी आम्ही तो बसमध्ये वितरित केला.

We took a left turn from Mumbai – Pune old highway at Karjat fata and move through a narrow road till karjat and take right on Karjat – Neral road. The same road goes to Matheran. After 5 km we finally reach Bhivpuri. We park our bus at Parking Area which was 1 km away from Bhivpuri waterfall.

कर्जत फाटा येथे मुंबई-पुणे जुन्या महामार्गावरून डावीकडे वळण घेतले तेथून कर्जतपर्यंत अरुंद असा सरळ रस्ता आहे. पुढे कर्जत फाट्यावर डावीकडे वळलो रस्त्यावरून कर्जत-नेरळ रस्त्यावर हाच रस्ता पुढे माथेरानला जातो. 5 किमी नंतर आपण शेवटी भिवपुरीला पोहोचतो. भिवपुरी धबधब्यापासून 1 किमी अंतरावर असलेल्या पार्किंग एरियामध्ये आम्ही आमची बस पार्क केली.

We started walking towards Bhivapuri Falls and got a beautiful view of the green hills. When we reached here, we could see waterfalls in the distance. The same water was coming towards us from a small river. The river and its sound seemed so beautiful and thrilling.

आम्ही भिवपुरी धबधब्याच्या दिशेने चालायला लागलो आणि हिरव्यागार डोंगराचे सुंदर आणी नयनरम्य दृश्य दृष्टीस आले. येथे पोहोचल्यावर लांबूनच धबधबे दिसू लागले. तेच पाणी छोट्या नदीतून पुढे सरकत आमच्या जवळ आले होते. नदी आणि तिचा आवाज खूप सुंदर आणी रोमांचकारी वाटत होता.

Crowded place Bhivpuri waterfall

When we reach near waterfall it’s so crowded, that we are unable to find a place to bath. After some time we decide that try to mix in crowed and enjoy individually so we all check the place and where we got the chance got wet.

आम्ही भिवपुरी धबधब्याकडे चालायला लागलो आणि हिरव्यागार डोंगराचे सुंदर नयनरम्य दृश्य पाहिले. आपण लांबून धबधबे देखील पाहू शकतो. तेच पाणी छोट्या नदीतून पुढे सरकत आमच्या जवळ आले ती नदी आणि तिचा आवाज खूप सुंदर वाटत होता.

The waterfall is so big that hundreds of people can take a bath at the same time. And by the grace of God. It started to rain so So the joy of soaking was doubled. Unable to get under the waterfall, they were soaking in the rain and enjoying themselves.

हा धबधबा इतका मोठा आहे की एकाच वेळी शेकडो लोक आंघोळ करू शकतील. यावेळी देवाच्या कृपेने पावसाने ही हजेरी लावली. पाऊस पडू लागला त्यामुळे भिजण्याचा आनंद द्विगुणित झाला. ज्यांना गर्दी मुळे धबधब्याखाली उतरता न आल्याने ते पावसात भिजून मनसोक्त आनंद लुटत होते.

Recently my friend Deepak had gone to Bhivapuri, as per my suggestion they They arrived near the waterfall early in the morning. So they got a very little crowd. They shared some photos of that time with me.

नुकताच माझा मित्र दीपक भिवापुरीला गेला होता, माझ्या सांगण्यानुसार ते पहाटे धबधब्याजवळ आले. त्यामुळे त्यांना फारच कमी गर्दी मध्ये धबधब्यात मनसोक्तपणे भिजण्याची पुरेपूर संधी मिळाली. त्यावेळचे काही फोटो त्यांनी माझ्यासोबत शेअर केले.

After taking a bath, we approached the bus, everyone shared their experiences, everyone seemed very happy. After that we enjoyed the meal brought from Mumbai. Both Sachin and Vinod had arranged all the meals.

आंघोळ करून बसजवळ आलो, त्यावेळी सर्वानी आपापले अनुभव शेअर केले, त्यावेळी सगळे खूप खुश दिसत होते. त्यानंतर आम्ही मुंबईहून आणलेल्या जेवणाचा आस्वाद घेतला. सचिन आणि विनोद दोघांनी जेवणाची सर्व व्यवस्था केली होती.

• Do not do argument with local or other group for your safety

• Best Onion pakoda – Kanda bhagi you will get in Karjat. Try once.
• Food facility is available near Bhivpuri road railway station 1.5 km away from waterfall

Bhivpuri is small village near Karjat and Neral so you will get hotel and resort in Karjat or Neral both places are just 5 km away from Bhivpurri waterfall.

Budget of Trip

• If you travel in a group, You can book minibusses which cost less. It’s just 85 km from Pune 103 km from Pune. So it comes under minimum Rent of 300 km. You can add some more places in the same budget.
• If you booked 17 seaters = 20/km minimum 300 Km day so total = 6,000 + Toll and parking and other charges 1000
• Rs.500/ person for transport and 250 for food so the total cost will be Rs.750/ person.
• If you are on a budget you can travel by Train to Bhivpuri road which saves your transport cost.Train ticket + Auto = 250/ Person
