I’m here again with yet another blog on Birla Ganesh Mandir the best location and adventurous place near Alibaug for a fun ride and drive. Personal Experience

This time I started my journey and bike ride with my niece Vedika. We started from Mumbai via roro M2m, we covered kihim and Alibaug beach. And moved towards Kashid beach. On the way, we experienced beautiful nature and landscape.

Revdanda Bridge (A bridge connecting Alibaug and Murud)

Moving forward towards the Birla Mandir we came across ‘Revdanda Bridge’. Look, bridges are of different kinds Made of bamboo, wood, or steel Some are long, some are short We find them narrow or wide Many a water flows under it.

Yet, unswerving it bridges the gapLook so many kinds of bridges Strewn with nature`s splendid beauty For our hearts to brim over with kindness and walk up straight to heaven.

 

Photoshoot point: Revdanda bridge is a scenic beauty. And also a photoshoot point. It`s just fantabulous!

 

Vikram Vinayak Temple travel guide

It is a temple built in pure milk-white marble and its dome can be seen from a long distance also. It can be reached by road or by climbing the steps. One is always mesmerized by the landscape. On both sides of the steps is a green velvet carpet of grass and beautiful flowers which will keep you spellbound for a minute.

Beautiful Architecture of Vikram Ganesh Mandir salav Travel Guide and Bike ride

The temple has marble floors and the hall of the temple are open from all sides. The ceiling of the temple is transparent which allows free flow of air and ample of light to come in. On entering the temple there is a square-shaped nave. The nave is also made of marble and is very beautifully carved.

The beautifully carved idol of ‘Ganapati’ is placed in the nave. The idols of ‘Riddhi and Siddhi’ are placed on both sides of the idol. Around the nave are small temples of ‘Radha-Krishna’s, ‘Shiv-Parvati’, ‘Bhavanidevi’ and ‘Suryadeva’. In the garden next to the temple there is a statue of “Late Aditya Birla”.

Worship and Aarti at 9.00 a. m. and 7.00 p. m. The temple is open for the public from 6.00 a. m. to 11.30 a. m. and 4.30 p. m. to 9.00 p. m.

As we reached the Birla Mandir at around 1:00pm in the afternoon, we couldn’t visit the temple. We just clicked the pictures of the entrance gate and had to leave from there. But the gate and steps it self were so beautiful itself. We decided to come back to this location again after visiting the next location.
