Alibaug Beach is one of the important beaches in alibaug tourism.  Because it’s the nearest beach from Alibaug city. Many tourist attractions are available here. People are enjoying their weekend and public Holliday. So this beach is always crowded even in night.

अलिबाग बीच हा अलिबाग पर्यटनातील महत्त्वाचा समुद्रकिनारा आहे. कारण हा अलिबाग शहरापासून जवळचा समुद्रकिनारा आहे. अनेक पर्यटन स्थळे येथे उपलब्ध आहेत. लोक त्यांचा वीकेंड आणि सार्वजनिक हॉलिडे एन्जॉय करण्यासाठी येथे आवर्जून येतात. त्यामुळे रात्रीच्या वेळीही या बीचवर नेहमीच गर्दी असते.

Personal Experience

We visit this place while our Mumbai to Kashid bike ride. We started from mumbai. This time we chose the sea route with Roro. Mumbai to Mandwa. It takes only one hour to reach Mandwa.

आम्ही आमच्या मुंबई ते काशीद बाईक राईड दरम्यान या ठिकाणी भेट दिली होती. आम्ही मुंबईपासून सुरुवात केली सागरी मार्गाने  जाण्याचे ठरवले आणी आम्ही रोरोने जाण्याचा मार्ग निवडला. मुंबई ते मांडवा. मांडव्याला पोहोचायला रोरोने फक्त एक तास लागतो. मांडव्याला पोहोचल्या नंतर सुरुवातीला आम्ही किहिम

After spending quality time on the Kihim beach, we headed towards the Suvaran Mandir also known as Bhavani temple. As we were new in the area, we decided to take help of the Goggle maps. Me riding the bike and my niece guiding me the directions towards Suvaran Mandir.

किहिम बीचवर दर्जेदार वेळ घालवल्यानंतर आम्ही सुवर्ण मंदिराकडे निघालो ज्याला भवानी मंदिर म्हणून ओळखले जाते. आम्ही परिसरात नवीन असल्याने आम्ही गॉगल मॅपची मदत घेण्याचे ठरवले. मी बाईक चालवत आहे आणि माझी भाची मला सुवर्ण मंदिराच्या दिशेने मार्ग दाखवत आहे.

While riding we passed from the local markets of Alibaug and had a look at their costumes and traditions. And all of a sudden we realised that we are on the wrong way. Ohh gross!!!!!

Instead of directing us towards the Suvaran Mandir, it was very coolly taking us towards the Alibaug Beach. As we had no other option left. We just thought that it may be the destiny, which didn’t want us to visit the Suvaran Mandir.

And this is how we ended up visiting the Alibaug beach. As compared to Kihim beach, Alibaug was much more crowded. There were around 200-300 people at the beach. It was beautifully designed and decorated at the entrance. There were sitting arrangements witting brightly colored benches for people to enjoy the sea.

आणि अशा प्रकारे आम्ही अलिबाग बीचला भेट दिली. किहीम बीचच्या तुलनेत अलिबागमध्ये जास्त गर्दी होती. समुद्रकिनारी सुमारे 200-300 लोक होते. त्याची सुंदर रचना आणि प्रवेशद्वारावर सजावट करण्यात आली होती. लोकांना समुद्राचा आनंद लुटता यावा यासाठी चमकदार रंगीबेरंगी बाकांनी बसण्याची व्यवस्था होती

As soon as we reached the location, we saw A beautiful sea in front of us, many people enjoying their Sunday in different ways. The tourism department did good work to improve the beauty of the beach.

They plant a tank in the main entrance and also developed many setting areas near the beach which improvise the beauty of the beach.

it started rainy heavily. We just clicked a few pictures and left the location. But the picures which we clicked were breath taking. I just wished we could have had spent some more time the Alibaug beach.

Rides to Alibaug beach

Fun rides such as horse rides and horse cart rides were available on the beach. Families were enjoying the horse cart rides.

Selfie points:

As these days people love clicking selfie, the beach authorities had created self points on the entrance of the beach. Which had ‘I love Alibaug’ display.

Parking

Parking is available at alibaug beach but due to crowded place it I will be less space so we suggest visiting this place in the early morning or use local transport.

Food Court

Basic food facilities are available near the beach. If you are a food lover and especially nonveg, then try hotel Sanman in Alibaug City you can get a best seafood.

How to reach Alibaug beach

  • The Ro-Ro ride can get you from Mumbai to Mandwa near Alibaug in less than 60 minutes
  • As opposed to the 3.5 hours or longer it takes by road.
