“Sinhagad” this name belongs to a lion of the Maratha kingdom. Sardar Tanaji Malusare. He fights with the enemy and sacrifices his life for this fort, So Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj renames this Fort as a ” Sinhagad” previously knows as the Kondhana fort. Two-door available at Sinhagad 1) Poona Darvaja 2) Kalyan darvaja.

सिंहगड” हे नाव मराठा राज्याच्या मानवरूपी सिंहाचे आहे. सरदार तानाजी मालुसरे. शत्रूशी लढता लढता या किल्ल्यासाठी आपल्या प्राणांची आहुती दिली, म्हणून छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी या किल्ल्याला “सिंहगड” असे नाव दिले, जो पूर्वी कोंढाणा किल्ला म्हणून ओळखला जात होता.

Night bike ride Mumbai to Sinhgad travel guide – बाईक राईड मुंबई ते सिंहगड
We visited this fort during our Night Bike ride Mumbai to Sinhgad. We started from Mumbai at 10:00 pm and Via the old Mumbai Pune highway till Pune. After that, we follow Sinhagad road. A road towards Sinhagad is narrow and curvy at corners we enjoyed so we enjoy our night ride. We reached the Sinhagad parking area at 2:30 am.
आम्ही आमच्या बाईक राईड दरम्यान या किल्ल्याला भेट दिली. रात्री 10 वाजता मुंबईहून निघालो आणि जुन्या मुंबई पुणे हायवेने पुण्यापर्यंत गेलो. त्यानंतर आपण सिंहगड रस्ता लागतो. सिंहगडाकडे जाणारा रस्ता फारच अरुंद आणि वळणावळणाचा आहे त्यामुळे आम्ही आमच्या रात्रीच्या उत्कंठावर्धक प्रवासाचा आनंद लुटला. आणी मध्यरात्री 2:30 वाजता सिंहगड येथिल पार्किंग जवळ पोहोचलो.

Arrived at half past one in the night then we decided to stay at Sinhagad. And after climbing a few steps we reached Sinhagad. We had our sleeping bags so we could enjoy sleeping in the natural environment. Another reason for this was that we wanted to see the sunrise from Sinhagad fort. We got a place according to our needs. We put our luggage in our sleeping bag and tried to sleep for the next 2 hours. We could hear the voices of many people around us. The train was full of tourists all night long.
रात्री अडीच वाजता पोहोचला नंतर आम्ही सिंहगडावर राहण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. आणि काही पायऱ्या चढून आम्ही सिंहगडावर पोहोचलो. आमच्याकडे आमच्या स्लीपिंग बॅग होत्या म्हणून आम्ही नैसर्गिक वातावरणात झोपण्याची मजा लुटू शकलो. यामागचे अजून एक कारण म्हणजे आम्हाला सिंहगड किल्ल्यावरून सूर्योदय पहायचा होता. आम्हाला आमच्या गरजेनुसार एक जागा मिळाली. आम्ही आमचे सामान आमच्या स्लीपिंग बॅगमध्ये ठेवले आणि पुढील 2 तास झोपण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. आपल्या आजूबाजूला अनेक लोकांचे आवाज आपल्याला ऐकू येत होते. रात्रभर पर्यटकांची रेलचेल जाणवत होती.

We woke up at five in the morning, without a moment’s delay we packed our sleeping bags and headed for Sunrise Point. The place was only 5 minutes away. Upon reaching there, we saw the amazing colors and beauty of nature was infront of our eyes. The Sun were coming into space, scattering many colors. Their radiant touch filled the surrounding valleys and the entire sky. It was a wonderful experience that we kept in our eyes and enjoyed the cool atmosphere.
आम्हाला पहाटे पाच च्या दरम्यान जाग आली, क्षणाचाही विलंब न लावता आम्ही आमच्या स्लीपिंग बॅग पॅक केल्या आणि सूर्योदय पॉईंटकडे निघालो. ते ठिकाण फक्त 5 मिनिटांच्या अंतरावर होते. तिथे पोहोचताच निसर्गाचे अप्रतिम रंग सौंदर्य आमच्या डोळ्यासमोर होते. अनेक रंगांची उधळण करत अवकाशात सूर्य देवांचे आगमन होत होते. त्यांच्या तेजस्वी स्पर्शाने सभोवतालचे दरी खोरे आणि संपूर्ण आकाश व्यापून गेले होते. तो एक अल्हाददायक अनुभव आम्ही आमच्या डोळ्यात साठवून तेथील थंडगार वातावरणाचा मनमुराद आनंद घेतला.
Samadhi of Tanaji Malusare Sinhagad travel guide – तानाजी मालुसरे यांची समाधी
After enjoying the sunrise, we went to Tanaji Malusare’s Samadhi, and saw Tanaji Malusare’s Samadhi at Sinhagad. Narasimha, Narveer Tanaji Malusare, who sacrificed his life for Swarajya, became an idol in front of us. The fierce battles, feats and success stories that took place at that time came before our eyes in an instant. The replica was a perfect example of architecture and sculpture, depicting the occasion with the help of several statues in different positions. सूर्योदयाचा आनंद लुटल्यानंतर आम्ही पुढे तानाजी मालुसरे यांच्या समाधी स्थानाकडे गेलो, सिंहगडावर तानाजी मालुसरेंची समाधी पाहिली. ज्यांनी स्वराज्यासाठी स्वतःच्या प्राणाची आहुती दिली असे नरसिंह, नरवीर तानाजी मालुसरे साक्षात आमच्या समोर मूर्ती रूपात अवतरले. त्यावेळी झालेल्या भीषण लढाई,पराक्रम आणी यशोगाथा क्षणार्धात आमच्या डोळ्यासमोर आली. प्रतिकृती वेगवेगळ्या पोझिशन्समध्ये अनेक पुतळ्यांच्या सहाय्याने केलेले प्रसंगाचे वर्णन वास्तु आणि मूर्तिकला याचा उत्तम उदाहरण होते. यासाठी महाराष्ट्र पर्यटन विभाग, सिंहगड व्यवस्थापन, छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज यांचे अनुयायी यांचे हार्दिक आभार.
Enjoy Local food at Sinhgad – सिंहगडावर स्थानिक जेवणाचा आनंद
Breakfast and lunch can be a great treat at Sinhagad. Many locals provide meals. The meeting arrangements they made were very different. Small trees and seating arrangements under those trees. Lots of delicious and spicy foods. You can also find many local dishes from Maggi, onion bhaji (pakoda), zhunka bread, thecha and some non-vegetarian food. The fragrant surroundings make these foods more palatable.
सिंहगडावर नाष्टा आणि जेवणाची उत्तम सोय होऊ शकते. अनेक स्थानिक लोक जेवणाची सोय करतात. त्यांनी बनवलेली बैठक व्यवस्था आगळीवेगळी होती. छोटी छोटी झाडे व त्या झाडाखाली बसण्याची व्यवस्था. अनेक स्वादिष्ट आणि चमचमीत पदार्थ. अगदी मॅगी पासून ते बरेच स्थानिक पदार्थ, कांद्याचे भजी (पकोडे), झुणका भाकर, थेचा आणि काही मांसाहारी पदार्थ देखील आपणास येथे मिळू शकतात. आजूबाजूच्या आल्हाददायक वातावरणामुळे या पदार्थांची चव अधिकच रुचकर लागते.
