Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue known as a Statue of Unity. Located at Sardar sarovar dam on narmada river in Gujarat.
सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल यांचा पुतळा स्टॅच्यू ऑफ युनिटी म्हणून ओळखला जातो. गुजरातमधील नर्मदा नदीवरील सरदार सरोवर धरण येथे आहे. येथे भव्य अश्या पुतळ्याची उभारणी करण्यात आली आहे.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was famous for his courage and his contribution to the Indian freedom struggle was very important. He made a significant contribution to the unification of India even after independence. People respectfully call him Iron Man. This statue is dedicated to his role in creating a new India.
सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल, त्यांच्या धैर्यासाठी प्रसिद्ध होते आणी भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्य लढ्यात त्यांचे योगदान खुप महत्त्वाचे होते. त्यांनी स्वातंत्र्यानंतरही भारताला संघटित करण्यासाठी खुप महत्त्वाचे योगदान दिले. सन्मानाने लोक त्यांना लोहपुरुष म्हणतात. हा पुतळा त्यांना नवीन भारत निर्माण करण्याच्या भूमिकेसाठी समर्पित आहे.

The Statue of Unity is an ambitious project of the Government of Gujarat. On the one hand, love and respect for our leaders and on the other hand, being the tallest statue in the world, this should be an attempt to draw the attention of the whole world to our state. This will make the state of Gujarat more advanced in terms of tourism as well as economy.
स्टॅच्यू ऑफ युनिटी हा गुजरात सरकार चा महत्वाकांक्षी प्रोजेक्ट आहे. एका बाजूला आपल्या नेत्यांवरील प्रेम व आदर तर दुसर्‍या बाजुला जगातील सर्वात उंच पुतळा असल्यामुळे सर्व जगाचे लक्ष आपल्या राज्याकडे कडे वेधून घेण्याचा हा एक प्रयत्न असावा. ज्यामुळे पर्यटन तसेच आर्थिक दृष्ट्या गुजरात राज्य अधिक प्रगत होईल.
Construction and architecture – Statue of unity world tallest statue
Larsen & Toubro designed and built the 240-meter-tall Statue of Unity, the world’s largest statue. It took 5 years to complete the construction. And for that a total of 2000 to 3000 crores was spent. Its construction has been done using agricultural implements donated by the farmers.
240 मिटर उंच असलेला आणी जगातील सर्वात मोठा पुतळा असण्याचा मान मिळालेला statue of unity याचे आलेख आणी बांधकामाचे कार्य हे लार्सन अ‍ॅण्ड टुब्रो या कंपनीने केले. बांधकाम पूर्ण होण्यासाठी तब्बल 5 वर्षांचा वेळ लागला. आणी त्यासाठी एकूण 2000 te 3000 करोड रुपये खर्च करण्यात आले. याचे बांधकाम शेतकर्‍यांनी दान केलेल्या शेतीच्या आवजारांचा ही वापर करण्यात आलेला आहे.
Personal Experience Statue of unity bike ride
We visited this place in a group bike ride with Nc bike riders. We started from Mumbai in late evening via Mumbai Ahmedabad highway. Till midnight, we covered almost 250 km, after that we stop near one temple and set our TENT to take a rest. We Park our bike around our tent for additional safety.
आम्ही NC बाईक रायडर्ससोबत ग्रुप बाइक राईडमध्ये या ठिकाणी भेट दिली होती. संध्याकाळी उशिरा आम्ही मुंबईहून निघालो. मुंबई अहमदाबाद हायवे मार्गे मध्यरात्रीपर्यंत, आम्ही जवळपास 250 किमी अंतर कापले, त्यानंतर आम्ही एका मंदिराजवळ थांबलो आणि विश्रांतीसाठी आमचा तंबू लावला. अतिरिक्त सुरक्षिततेसाठी आम्ही आमची बाईक आमच्या तंबूभोवती पार्क करतो.
We made our breakfast in the morning, our Sachin Saheb was very good at making many of these. He cooked the potato fries and Maggie on a stone stove in just fifteen minutes. We enjoyed our camping and breakfast in the cool of the morning. After breakfast we set off on our next journey. With only 150 km left now, we were all looking forward to seeing the Statue of Unity. Due to the open road in the morning, we reached the Statue of Unity at around 10:30 in just 3 hours.
भल्या पहाटे आम्ही आमचा नाश्ता बनविला, त्यात ही अनेक प्रकार बनवण्यात आमचे सचिन साहेब पटाईत होते. त्याने बटाटा फ्राईज आणि मॅगी अगदी पंधरा मिनिटात दगडी चुलीवर बनवून घेतली. सकाळच्या थंडगार वातावरणात आम्ही आमच्या कॅम्पिंग आणि नाश्ता याचा मनमुराद आनंद घेतला. नाश्ता करून आम्ही आमच्या पुढील प्रवासाला निघालो. आता फक्त 150 किमी बाकी होते, आम्ही सर्वजण स्टॅच्यू ऑफ युनिटी पाहण्यासाठी उत्सुक होतो. सकाळी असलेल्या मोकळ्या रस्त्यामुळे अवघ्या 3 तासात सकाळी 10:30 च्या सुमारास आम्ही Statue of Unity जवळ पोहोचलो.
Statue of unity Experience
When we reached the near the statue. Then we were shocked. Because, my height is 5 feet 10 inches, when I stood at the feet of the statues. At that time, I realized that my height was the same as the base of the statue. It was an unforgettable experience for me.
पुतळ्याच्या अगदी जवळ पोहोचलो. तेव्हा आम्ही अचंबित झालो. कारण, माझी उंची 5 फूट 10 इंच आहे, जेव्हा मी पुतळ्यांच्या पायाशी उभा राहिलो. त्यावेळी माझी ऊंची पुतळ्याच्या पाया एवढी असल्याचे जाणवले. माझ्यासाठी ही एक अविस्मरणीय गोष्ट होती. मूर्ती च्या आतून एक लिफ्ट आहे ज्या मधून आपणास अगदी उंचावर जाता येते. तेथून सभोवतालच्या सरदार सरोवराचा परिसर अतिशय उत्तम रीतीने पाहता येतो. येथेच पायथ्याशी एक संग्रहालय आहे. जेथे statue of unity च्या बांधकामाचे फोटो आणी माहिती दिली गेली आहे.
Inside the statue is an elevator that allows you to reach even heights. From there, the surrounding Sardar Sarovar area can be seen in a very beautiful way. There is a museum at the foot. Where photos and information about the construction of the statue of unity are given.
