आम्ही आमच्या पुरंदर दौर्‍या दरम्यान संत सोपानदेव यांच्या सासवड येथील संजीवन समाधीला भेट दिली होती. यावेळी कात्रज बापदेव घाटामार्गे सासवडला पोहोचलो. मुख्य रस्त्यावरून अगदी पाच ते दहा  मिनिटे अंतरावर करा नदीच्या काठावर सोपानदेव महाराजांची समाधी आहे.

Warkari sect – वारकरी संप्रदाय

The Warkari sect is based on the comprehensive spirituality, unity, philanthropy and faith that has reached every household in Maharashtra. King and Rank, an equal killer of people of all ages. A cosmic religion in which the little ones are treated equally. Vitthal from Pandharpur is the deity of the Warkari sect. Twice a year on Ashadi Ekadashi and Kartik Ekadashi. Warakaris visit Panduranga and reach Pandharpur on foot from their respective villages.

वारकरी संप्रदाय हा महाराष्ट्रातील घराघरात पोहोचलेल्या सर्वसमावेशक आध्यात्म, एकात्मता, परोपकार आणी श्रद्धा या पायावर उभा राहिलेला. राजा आणी रंक, सर्व वयोगटातील लोकांना एक समान मारणारा. असा वैश्विक धर्म संप्रदाय ज्यामधे लहान थोर यांना समान वागणूक दिली जाते. पंढरपुरातील विठ्ठल हे वारकरी संप्रदाय यांचे दैवत. वर्षातून दोनदा आषाढी एकादशी आणी कार्तिक एकादशी या दिवशी. वारकरी पांडुरंगाच्या भेटीस आपापल्या गावाहून चालत पंढरपुरात पोहचतात.

Many great saints became in this sect. In it, a whole family became saints. They are the family of Saint Nyaneshwar. Saint Nivruttinath, Saint Dnyaneshwar, Saint Sopandev, and Saint Muktabai. Of these, Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Sopandev took Sanjeevan Samadhi. Saint Namdev and other saints have described Sanjeevan samadhi in their abhanga.

या संप्रदायात अनेक महान संत होऊन गेले. त्यामध्ये एक पूर्ण कुटुंब हे संत शिरोमणी झाले. ते म्हणजे संत न्यानेश्वरांचे कुटुंब. संत निवृत्तीनाथ, संत ज्ञानेश्वर, संत सोपानदेव, आणी संत मुक्ताबाई. यातील संत ज्ञानेश्वर आणी संत सोपानदेव या संतानी तर संजीवन समाधी घेतली. संत नामदेव आणी इतर संतानी या संजीवन समाधीचे वर्णन आपल्या अभंगात केले आहे.

In the Warkari sect, Saint Sopandev is called Sopan Kaka. By assimilating the essence of the song from Nath Sampraday and Sant Dnyaneshwarayan from his elder brother Nivruttinath at a very young age. Saint Sopandev proved his place in Saint Shiromani on the strength of his profound intelligence at an early age. Saint Sopandevani has written many abhangs and poems and made them immortal.

वारकरी संप्रदायात संत सोपानदेव यांना सोपान काका असे संबोधले जाते. मोठे बंधू निवृत्तीनाथ याच्या कडून नाथ संप्रदाय आणी संत ज्ञानेश्वरयान कडुन गीतेचे सार अगदी लहान वयात आत्मसात केल्याने. संत सोपानदेव हे लहान वयातच प्रगल्भ बुद्धिमत्तेचा जोरावर    संत शिरोमणी मध्ये आपले स्थान सिद्ध केले. संत सोपानदेवानी अनेक अभंग, ओव्या लिहून अजरामर केल्या आहेत.

What is Sanjeevan Samadhi ?

Sanjeevan Samadhi is to say goodbye to the world for further meditation while alive. In which a basement is made by digging a space under the ground. Where saints are seated in a state of samadhistha. And then it is filled with soil in the basement. This kind of Sanjeevan Samadhi can only be taken by a very great Yogiraj. In which tremendous self-confidence, patience, longing for God, worldly aversion, meditation have to be adopted. In Maharashtra, only Saint Dnyaneshwar and Saint Sopandev have taken Sanjeevan Samadhi.

संजीवन समाधी म्हणजे काय

संजीवन समाधी म्हणजे जिवंत असताना पुढील ध्यान साधने साठी जगाचा निरोप घेणे. ज्यामध्ये जमिनी खाली एक जागा खणून एक भुयार बनवले जाते. जेथे संत समाधिस्थ अवस्थेत विराजमान होतात. आणी नंतर त्या भुयारात माती टाकून ते बुजवले जाते. अशा प्रकारची संजीवन समाधी हे फार मोठे योगिराजच घेऊ शकतात. ज्यामध्ये प्रचंड आत्मविश्वास, धैर्य, ईश्वर प्राप्तीची ओढ, संसार विरक्ती, ध्यान साधना हे गुण अंगीकार करावे लागतात. महाराष्ट्रात केवळ संत ज्ञानेश्वर आणी संत सोपानदेव यांनीच संजीवन समाधी घेतल्या आहेत.

Sant Sopandev samadhi temple architecture and Things to see

As soon as we enter from the main road. There is an arch on which is mentioned the shrine of Saint Sopandev. Then there is the parking lot and the magnificent building in front. In the middle of that building is the main door. Across which you can go to the main temple.

मुख्य रस्त्यावरून आत येताना पहिल्यांदा एक कमान लागते ज्यावर संत sopandev देवस्थान असे नमूद केले आहे. तद्नंतर पार्किंग आणी समोरच भव्य अशी इमारत नजरेस येते. त्या इमारतीच्या    मधोमध  मुख्य दरवाजा आहे. जो ओलांडून आपणास मुख्य मंदिरात जाता येते.

Upon entering the temple, there is a Nageshwar temple in front. Which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. On the walls of this temple, Sopan Kaka and other saints’ Abhangs are carved on marble. At the very back of this temple is the Sanjeevan Samadhi of Saint Sopandev Maharaj.

मंदिरात प्रवेश करताच समोर नागेश्वर मंदिर आहे. जे भगवान शिवाला समर्पित आहे. या मंदिराच्या भिंतींवर सोपान काकांचे व इतर संतांचे अभंग संगमरवरावर कोरलेले दिसतात. या मंदिराच्या अगदी मागील बाजूस संत sopandev महाराजांची संजीवन समाधी आहे.

समाधीच्या बाहेरील बाजूस भव्य असा सभामंडप आहे. ज्यामधे  भजन कीर्तन या सारखे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित केले जातात. येथे येताच एका आध्यात्मिक शांततेचा आणी आंतरिक सुखाची जाणीव झाली. गर्दी नसल्याने चित्त एकाग्रतेसाठी हे एक उत्तम Stan आहे. याची अनुभुती येथे आल्यावरच कळते.

सभामंडपात मध्य भागी समाधी मंदिराचा दरवाजा आहे. तेथून मी संत sopandev महाराजांच्या समाधी मंदिरात प्रवेश केला. मंदिर हे संपूर्ण काळ्या पाषाणात बनवलेले असल्याने आतील भाग हा थंड आणी आल्हाददायक वातावरण, समोर गाभाऱ्यात sopandev महाराजांची मूर्ती त्यावरील तेज, आणी संजीवन समाधीचे समाधान  स्पष्ट दिसत होते. गाभाऱ्याच्या एकाबाजूला सीताराम यांची मूर्ती tar दुसर्‍या बाजूस विठ्ठल रखुमाई यांची मूर्ती होती.

Sitting in solitude in the temple, I was tempted to sing Vithuraya’s Abhang. Some of the devotees who came, were also appreciated. The spiritual energy and inner satisfaction that came with it. Thus I sat in the Samadhi temple for over an hour.

मंदिरात एकांतात बसल्यावर मला विठुरायाच्या अभंग गाण्याचा मोह आवरला नाही. मला पाठ असलेले काही अभंग आळवून मी सोपान काकांना समर्पित केले. येणार्‍या काही भाविकांची  दाद ही मिळाली.  तेथे मिळालेल्या आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा आणी आंतरिक समाधान यामुळे तेथून  निघण्याची इच्छा होत न्हवती. अशाप्रकारे तब्बल तासभर मी समाधी मंदिरात बसुन होतो.

Palkhi ceremony- पालखी सोहळा

In the Warkari sect, images of saints as well as idols are made in palanquins and their followers are taken to Pandharpur to the praise of Tal Mridung. This ceremony is called Palkhi ceremony. The palanquin of Saint Sopandev Maharaj travels from Saswad to Pandharpur. This festival is celebrated between Ashadi Ekadashi and Karthiki Ekadashi Ekadashi Ekadashi.

वारकरी संप्रदायात संतांच्या प्रतिमा तसेच मूर्ती पालखी मध्ये बनवून त्यांचे अनुयायी पंढरपुरात ताल मृदुंग च्या जयघोषात घेऊन जातात. या सोहळ्याला पालखी सोहळा असे म्हंटले जाते. यामधे संत सोपानदेव महाराजांची पालखी ही सासवड ते पंढरपुर असा प्रवास करते. हा सोहळा आषाढी एकादशी आणी कार्तिकी एकादशीएकादशीएकादशी दरम्यान साजरा होतो.
