It is a small village in Mokada taluka between Wada and Kasara Ghat in Palghar district. As usual, We left home for a sudden day trip. This time we visited Goverdhan Eco village via Mumbai Ahmedabad highway. After that, there was a lot of time left and it occurred to me to find some new place. Accordingly information was obtained from our friend Mr. Bhupendra of Palghar district. Started the journey via Manor – Wada road and headed towards Suryamal Hillstation. This distance is about 55 km away
नेहमीच्या प्रमाणे अचानक ठरलेल्या एक दिवसाच्या ट्रीप साठी घरातून बाहेर पडलो. यावेळी आम्ही मुंबई अहमदाबाद highway मार्गे Goverdhan Eco village la भेट दिली. त्यानंतर बराच वेळ बाकी होता सोबत कोणते तरी नवीन ठिकाण शोधून काढायचे असे मनात आले. त्यानुसार आमचे पालघर जिल्ह्यातील मित्र श्री भूपेंद्र यांच्या कडून माहिती मिळवली. मनोर – वाडा रस्त्या मार्गे प्रवासाला सुरवात केली आणी Suryamal च्या दिशेने निघालो. हे अंतर सुमारे 55 km येवढे आहे.
Wada to Sryamal beautiful forest tour and scenic valley
The entire area was very green, as we moved further from the castle we found a forest gate and the real thrill began. Full thick bush, drizzling rain and full open road. Ours was the only car on the road.
after some time a ghat started with lovely atmosphere with fine mist. At that time nothing was visible in front of us. But since the road was good, my bike ride experience came in handy at that time. We saw small and big waterfalls in many places. some places we stopped and enjoyed the natural beauty and captured the wonderful experience in our camera.
संपूर्ण परिसर अगदी हिरवागार होताच, जसे आम्ही वाडया पासून पुढे निघालो आम्हाला एक जंगलाचे गेट दिसले आणी खरा थ्रील पुढे सुरू झाला. संपूर्ण गर्द झाडी, त्यात पडणारा रिमझिम पाऊस आणी पूर्ण मोकळा रस्ता. रस्त्यावर फक्त आमचीच गाडी होती. काही वेळात एक घाट सुरू झाला आणी छान धुक्याचे मनमोहक वातावरण सुरू झाले. त्या वेळी समोर काहीच दिसत न्हवते. पण रस्ता चांगला असल्याने माझ्या बाइक राईड चा अनुभव त्यावेळी कामी आला. मध्ये बर्‍याच ठिकाणी छोटे मोठे धबधबे आम्हास दिसले. त्यापैकी काही जागी आम्ही थांबून, त्या निसर्ग सौंदर्याचा आनंद घेत, त्या क्षणाचा अप्रतिम अनुभव आमच्या कॅमेरा मध्ये सामावून घेतला.

Shortly after passing through the ghat, we saw the arch of Suryamal Hill Station on the left side. And we turned our car in that direction. From there we saw a Km board Suryamal Hill Station is 4 km away. The map was not available network problem, so we approached the main entrance asking passers-by for directions. From main entrance road was to narrow to pass only one car at a time till next 500 mtr. After that road was wide enough and in just five minutes we reached Suryamal hillstation and tourist spot.
घाटातून पुढे आल्यानंतर काही वेळातच डाव्याबाजूला आम्हाला सुर्यमाळ हिल स्टेशनची कमान दिसली. आणि आम्ही आमची गाडी त्या दिशेला वळवली. तिथून सूर्यमाळ हिल स्टेशन 4 किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे असा बोर्ड आम्ही पहिला. नेटवर्क नसल्याने मॅप ने काम करायचं सोडले, त्यामुळे आम्ही रस्त्यात भेटणाऱ्या वाटसरूंना रस्ता विचारत मुख्य प्रवेशद्वाराजवळ पोहोचलो. तेथून पुढे फक्त एकवेळी एकच गाडी जाऊ शकेल एवढाच रस्ता. त्या रस्त्यातून साधारणपणे 500 mtr पुढे गेल्यावर पुन्हा मोकळा रस्ता सुरू झाला आणी अवघ्या पाच मिनिटात आम्ही सुर्यमाळ हिल स्टेशन आणी पर्यटन स्थळाला पोहचलो.
Suyamal hillstation beutiful experience
As soon as we reached at the tourist spot, there is a good parking facility on the left side. There was complete fog around the parking lot. From there we entered the park in the main tourist center. The entire garden and surroundings were lush with beautiful green grass. Everything looked dim because of the fog around. The whole place felt safe to walk around due to the iron ramparts around it.
पर्यटन स्थळाला पोहोचताच डाव्याबाजूला पार्किंगची उत्तम सोय आहे. पार्किंग च्या सभोवती पूर्ण पणे धुके पसरले होते. तिथून आम्ही मुख्य पर्यटन केंद्रा मधील उद्यानात प्रवेश केला. संपूर्ण उद्यान आणी सभोवतालचा परिसर सुंदर हिरव्यागार तृणांनी बहरलेला होता. आजुबाजूला धुके असल्याने सारे काही अंधूक दिसत होते. सभोवताली असलेल्या लोखंडी तटबंदी मुळे सर्व ठिकाण फिरताना सुरक्षित वाटत होते.
An iron view point is built in the central part of the park, approximately 25 to 30 feet high, to view the surrounding area. A beautiful view of the entire valley can be seen from here. Since this area is high above the ground, the whole solar system can be seen like a very beautiful sight. After going further from there, a small stream was flowing and taking the form of a waterfall in the valley. An iron bridge was planned to cross the stream. Crossing it, we moved on. The fog still hadn’t lifted so walking across the bridge felt like we were walking through the clouds.
उद्यानाच्या मध्य भागी उंच साधारण 25 ते 30 फूट उंच सभोवतालचा परिसर पाहण्यासाठी लोखंडी view point बनवला आहे. येथून संपूर्ण दरीचा सुंदर देखावा पाहावयास मिळतो. हा भाग जमिनीपासून उंच असल्याने संपूर्ण सूर्यमाळ फार सुरेख देखाव्या सारखा पाहावयास मिळतो. तेथून पुढे गेल्यावर छोटासा ओढा वाहून दरी मध्ये धबधब्याचे रूप घेत होता. तो ओढा ओलांडण्यासाठी एका लोखंडी पुलाची योजना केली होती. तो पार करत आम्ही पुढे निघालो. अजूनही धुके ओसरले नव्हते त्यामुळे पुलावरून जाताना जणू आम्ही ढगात अधांतरी चालत आहोत असे वाटले.
After enjoying the nature for a while, We wanted to drink some tea. So we move towards small shop outside the park. Reached there and enjoyed a nice hot tea. Along with some corn roasted nicely. The lemon and salt being rubbed on it. We spent two hours to experiencing all this, As it continued to rain, we spent a lot of time in the shop at that time, We discussed many thinga with hotel owners. We have got lot of information from them.
थोडावेळ निसर्गाचा आनंद घेतल्या वर, थोडा चहा प्यायची इच्छा झाली. उद्यानाच्या बाहेरील बाजूस एक छोटे दुकान आम्ही पाहिले होते. तेथे पोहोचून छान गरमागरम चहाचा आस्वाद घेतला. सोबत काही मक्याची कसेही छानपैकी भाजून घेतली. त्यावर चोळले जाणारे लिंबू आणी मीठ पाहून तोंडाला अगदी पाणी सुटले. हे सर्व अनुभवत असताना दोन तास कधी निघून गेले कळले नाही. पाऊस चालू असल्याने आम्ही बराचवेळ दुकानात घालवला. त्यावेळी तेथील आजी, आजोबा आणी कुटुंबातील सदस्यांची छान ओळख झाली. त्यांच्या कडून बरीच माहिती आम्हास मिळू शकली.

Grandma and Grandpa live in his house near the tourist center. The parking lot and surrounding land are part of his agricultural land. Many people come there for camping. Also, tourists come here to see the sunset at other times except rain. Meals and breakfast can be arranged if requested in advance. The camping experience is doubled as there are plenty of open spaces. So it is actually a cheaper and more natural option than the hectic and expensive camping sites.
आजी आणी आजोबा हे पर्यटन केंद्राच्या जवळ असलेल्या त्याच्या घरात राहतात. पार्किंग आणी सभोवतालची जमीन ही त्याच्या शेतजमिनीचा भाग आहे. तेथे बरेच जण कॅम्पिंग साठी आवर्जून येतात. तसेच येथे पर्यटक पाऊस सोडून इतरवेळी येथील सूर्यास्त पाहायला येतात. अगोदर मागणी केल्यास जेवण तसेच नाश्त्याची सोय करता येऊ शकते. बरीच मोकळी जागा असल्याने कॅम्पिंग चा अनुभव द्विगुणित होतो. त्यामुळे धकाधकीच्या च्या आणी महाग अश्या कॅम्पिंग साइट पेक्षा हा खरंच अधिक स्वस्त आणी नैसर्गिक पर्याय आहे.
