Ogda waterfall falls located in Mokada taluka of Palghar district. Just 123 Km from Mumbai, this waterfall is a small but fun flowing stream of water. Also from a family trip point of view. Mumbai to Ogda waterfall road trip

Mumbai to Ogada Falls was a very unique trip. To tell the truth, the name of the place was not known until we reached at the place. Leaving home to find some new place. Jawhar and Igatpuri had been seen many times before. Some part of the road was very beautiful but we could not see it due to insufficient time, so rhis time we decided to see the same part today so we left from Mumbai in early morning.

मुंबई ते ओगदा धबधबा ही अगदी निराळी ट्रीप होती. खरे सांगायचे झाले तर ठिकाणावर pohache पर्यंत त्या ठिकाणाचे नाव माहीत नव्हते. घरातून काही नवीन ठिकाण शोधण्यासाठी निघालो. यापुर्वी जव्हार आणी इगतपुरी बरेचदा पाहिले होते. त्या रस्त्याने जाताना मधील काही भाग फार सुंदर होता पण अपुऱ्या वेळे मुळे तो पाहता आला न्हवता, त्यामूळे आज तोच भाग पाहण्याचे ठरवून आम्ही मुंबईहुन निघालो.

From Mumbai to Manor we took the Mumbai-Ahmedabad express highway and we took short break before Manor. We were very hungry because we left from home without having breakfast in the morning. So after Virar we stopped near hotel with good parking space nd had a nice breakfast. After that we started our next journey. Then turn left and proceed along Manor-Wada Road.

मुंबई ते मनोर पर्यंत आम्ही मुंबई – अहमदाबाद एक्सप्रेस highway आणी पुढे मनोर पर्यंत पोहचलो. सकाळी नाश्ता न करता निघाल्याने फार भूक लागली होती. त्यामुळे विरार नंतर आम्ही चांगली पार्किंग असलेल्या एका हॉटेल मध्ये थांबुन छान न्याहरी केली आणी पुढील प्रवासाला निघालो. नंतर डाव्या बाजुला वळून मनोर – वाडा रोड ने पुढे निघालो.

Now the road was surrounded by beautiful forests and natural scenes that were pleasing to the heart. After proceeding from the wada, the one-way road started. As the road was short, it seemed like a thick black line was drawn in the green forest. In no time a beautiful river and a small dam appeared to be right on the side of the road. Many streams were flowing from it.

आता रस्त्याच्या सभोवताली सुंदर वनराई आणी कित्तेक नैसर्गिक देखावे मन प्रसन्न करत होते. वाडा पासून पुढे गेल्यानंतर एकेरी रस्ता सुरू झाला. रस्ता लहान असल्याने हिरव्या रानात एक जाड काळी रेघ ओढल्या सारखी वाटत होती. काही वेळातच एक सुंदर नदी आणी छोटा बंधारा रस्त्याच्या अगदी बाजूला असल्याचा दिसला. त्या मधून अनेक जलधारा ओसंडत होत्या. तेथून अगदी 10 ते 15 मिनिटात आम्ही ओगदा धबधब्याजवळ पोहोचलो.

As the road is small, we parked our car a little down the road. There was only one car parked besides us. From this we realized that there will be less crowd. If you compare with other places like Lonavla Igatpuri are very crowded during monsoon. So this place seems suitable and safe for a family monsoon picnic. The sound of water could be clearly heard from the road. After walking along the small path, we reached near the waterfall by making our way through small and big stones. There were many spots where you and your family can enjoy soaking to the fullest.

रस्ता लहान असल्याने थोडी रस्त्या नजीक खाली थोडे खाली उतरवून आम्ही आमची गाडी पार्क केली. तेव्हा आमच्या व्यतिरिक्त केवळ एक गाडी तेथे पार्क होती. यावरून तेथे कमी गर्दी असेल ते आमच्या लक्षात आले इतर लोणावळा इगतपुरी या ठिकाणी पावसाळ्यात खूप गर्दी असते. त्यामुळे फॅमिली पावसाळी पिकनिक साठी ही जागा योग्य आणी सुरक्षित वाटते. रस्त्यावरून पाण्याचा आवाज स्पष्ट ऐकु येत होता. छोटी पायवाट चालून गेल्यावर पुढे लहान मोठ्या दगडातून वाट काढत आम्ही धबधब्याच्या जवळ पोहोचलो. तेथे लहान मोठे असे अनेक स्पॉट्स होते जेथे कुटुंबासह आपण भिजण्याचा पूर्ण आनंद घेऊ शकतो.
