Information about Phansad wildlife sanctuary

Phansad wildlife sanctuary is just 15 to 20 km from Alibag Murud Road and Kashid Beach. It was formerly a reserve forest for hunting by the regime here. In 1986, this nearly 6000 hectares of forest area was declared as a reserve forest area. At present, the entire maintenance and conservation of this forest area is with the Forest Department. Many activities are conducted here to attract tourists. फणसाड अभयारण्य हे अलिबाग मुरुड रोड आणी काशिद बीच पासून अवघ्या 15 ते 20 किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. हे पूर्वी येथील राजवटीच्या शिकारीसाठी असलेले राखीव जंगल होते. 1986 मध्ये या तब्बल 6000 हेक्टर वनक्षेत्रास राखीव वनक्षेत्र घोषित करण्यात आले. सध्या या वनक्षेत्रा ची संपूर्ण देखरेख आणी संवर्धन हे वनविभागाकडे आहे. पर्यटकांना आकर्षित करण्यासाठी अनेक उपक्रम येथे राबवले जातात. त्यात मुख्यत्वे करून कॅम्पिंग, बैलगाडी राईड, इन्फॉर्मेशन सेंटर, ट्रेक, पक्षी निरीक्षण ईत्यादी याची अधिक माहिती खालील things to do या सदरात आहे.

    • 2) Big tent = Rs. 1200/= 6 Bed capacity
    • Small tent = Rs. 800/= 4 Bed Capacity

  • येथे महिला बचत गटांच्या मार्फत उत्तम भोजनाची सोय उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आली आहे. ज्या मध्ये आपणास आपल्या आवडत्या खाद्य पदार्थाचा आस्वाद घेता येतो. आपण दिलेल्या ऑर्डर प्रमाणे घरगुती प्रकारचे जेवण आणी नाश्त्याची सोय केली जाते.
