The Kodak brand is well known. George Isman Kodak founded the company between 1850 and 1856. In the early days, the Kodak company produced some rare photographs. Photography was a great invention at that time. Photographs had to be taken using many chemicals. To introduce such a new invention to the public, a representative of the company came to India and started capturing the unique character. In this activity he came to Akkalkot.

After reaching Akkalkot, as usual, the photographer tried to took photograph Swami without his consent. But when this photograph was processed from the negative, Swami was not visible in the photograph. This was tried many times, finally Swami’s leela and divinity came to the notice of the photographer. Finally he surrendered at the feet of Swami. The miracle that happened at that time was that Swami’s presence was evident in all the photographs taken. A close look at this photograph reveals many bright symbols. We will discuss it in detail in the next section.

अक्कलकोट ला पोहोचल्या नंतर नेहमीच्या सवई प्रमाणे फोटोग्राफर ने स्वामींच्या संमतीशिवाय स्वामींच् छायाचित्र काढण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. पण जेव्हा हे छायाचित्र निगेटिव्ह पासून प्रोसेस करण्यात आले तेव्हा त्या छायाचित्रात स्वामी दिसत नव्हते. असा अनेकदा प्रयत्न झाला, शेवटी स्वामींची लीला आणी दैवत्व त्या फोटोग्राफर च्या लक्षात आले. शेवटी स्वामीच्या चरणी शरण आले. त्यावेळी झालेला चमत्कार म्हणजे पुढे काढलेल्या सर्व छायाचित्रात स्वामींचे अस्तित्व साक्षात दिसून आले. या छायाचित्रास निरखून पाहता अनेक तेजोमय बोधचिन्ह दिसून येतात. त्याची सविस्तर चर्चा आपण पुढील भागात करू.

The negatives of 22 of these photographs have been preserved by the company. This incident is from 1875. After that Swami had come to the Ahamadnagar . At that time, he was also photographed at the home of his disciple Vamborikar by Butwell Samson photographer from England. Swami Seva is the sole purpose behind this photograph and information. We do not claim any rights to these photographs. We intend to provide some of the photographs in absolute and free form to the Swami devotees among us.
