History of Harihar Fort – हरिहर गड इतिहास

After chanting the name Harihara, we get a sense of spiritual power. Hari literally means Lord Shri Vishnu and Har literally means Lord Shiva Shankar. Maruti, the 11th incarnation of Rudra, was born from the union of Hari and Har after Halal prayer. Harihar Fort is the fort that reminds us of this legend. Where there are temples of Shri Shiva Shankar and Shri Maruti.

हरिहर या नावाचा उच्चार केल्या नंतर आपण आध्यात्मिक शक्ति  चा बोध होतो. हरी म्हणजे साक्षात भगवान श्री विष्णु आणी हर म्हणजे साक्षात भगवान शिव शंकर. हलाहल प्राशन केल्यानंतर हरी आणी हर यांच्या मिलाफातून रुद्राचा 11 वा अवतार साक्षात मारुती यांचा जन्म झाला. या पौराणिक कथेची आठवण करून देणारा हा गड म्हणजे हरीहर गड. जेथे श्री शिव शंकर आणी श्री मारुती यांची मंदिरे आहेत.

The reason behind this is the height of the fort and the geographical location of the fort. From where Trimbak, Nashik, Jawhar, the surrounding areas could be monitored. या गडाची निर्मिती ही यादव कालीन आहे असे मानले जाते. या गडावर अनेक राजघराण्यांनी राज्य केले. ज्यामध्ये यादव, मुघल, मराठा, पेशवा आणी ईंग्रज. यामागचे कारण म्हणजे गडाची उंची आणी गडाचे भौगोलिक स्थान. जेथून त्रिंबक, नाशिक, जव्हार, या सभोवतीच्या परिसरावर देखरेख ठेवता येत असे. तसेच कल्याण राजवटी वर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी हा एक महत्त्वाचा किल्ला होता. या किल्ल्याची वास्तू रचना विशेष म्हणजे दगडात कोरलेल्या पायर्‍या आपले लक्ष वेधून घेतात. विचार करा या पायऱ्या नुसते चढताना आपल्याला दमछाक होऊन भीतिदायक वाटते. त्या काळात कोणतीही यंत्रणा नसताना येवढ्या दुर्गम जागी या पायर्‍या तेही दगडात कश्या कोरलेल्या असतिल.

Harihar Fort trek safety precautions, risks – हरिहर किल्ला ट्रेक सुरक्षा खबरदारी, जोखीम

Harihar Gad trek is a medium and ladder part comes in a slightly difficult trek. The total trek takes 2 to 2:30 hours. If you are new to trekking, it will be safer to come here with a group or an experienced person. At the base of the fort i.e. 4 km further from the main road, there is a good road. But there is no signpost here so you have to be a bit alert.

Safty precautions Carry necessary gear and equipment. You can successfully complete this trek by consulting experienced trekkers or local guides. In modern times there is often a ban on publication or permission for gadkot and difficult trekking. Mainly during rainy days so it is better to plan after getting all the information.

हरिहर गड ट्रेक हा माध्यम आणी शिड्यांचा भाग हा थोड्या कठीण ट्रेक मध्ये येतो. एकूण ट्रेक साठी 2 ते 2:30 तासांचा वेळ लागतो. आपण जर नवीन ट्रेकिंग सुरू केले असेल तर, येथे एखाद्या ग्रुप अथवा अनुभवी व्यक्ति सोबत आल्यास अधिक सुरक्षित होईल. गडाच्या पायथ्याशी म्हणजेच मुख्य रस्त्यापासून अगदि 4 km पुढे चांगला रस्ता झाला आहे. पण येथे कोणताही मार्ग दाखवणारा फलक नाही त्यामुळे आपणास थोडे अलर्ट राहावे लागेल.

सुरक्षा आणी खबरदारी = आवश्यक गियर आणि उपकरणे सोबत ठेवा. अनुभवी ट्रेकर्स किंवा स्थानिक मार्गदर्शकांशी सल्लामसलत करत यशस्वी रित्या हा ट्रेक पार करू शकता. हल्लीच्या काळात बरेच वेळा गडकोट आणी कठीण ट्रेकिंग साठी प्रकाशनाची बंदी असते अथवा परवानगी घ्यावी लागते. मुख्यत्वे करून पावसाच्या दिवसात त्यामुळे सर्व माहिती मिळूनच योजना आखण्यात आल्यास उत्तम.
