I stayed here for two days with my family. Versoli Beach is considered to be one of the closest beaches from Alibaug city. Next to this road is Samarth Cottage. We were looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Saw many resorts but they had good facilities but lacked nature. Where was the scenic spot. But the prices were out of budget. Looking at this, Samarth Cottage information was searched. Simplicity in the midst of amazing nature is key in today’s world of party loudspeakers. Apart from all these cottages dedicated only to families and couples. It seemed like a very wonderful concept. Without a moment’s delay we called the number given in the contact list.

मी माझ्या कुटुंबासोबत येथे दोन दिवसाचा मुक्काम केला होता. अलिबाग शहरापासून सर्वात जवळचा बीच पैकी एक म्हणजे वर्सोली बीच मानला जातं. या रस्त्या लगत समर्थ कॉटेज आहे. शहरी गजबटापासून दूर एक शांत जागा आम्ही शोधत होतो. बरेच रिसॉर्ट पाहिले पण त्यामध्ये सुविधा चांगल्या होत्या पण निसर्गाची कमी होती. कोठे निसर्गरम्य ठिकाण होते. पण किमती बजेट च्या बाहेर होत्या. असेच पाहता समर्थ कॉटेजची माहिती शोधली. अप्रतिम निसर्ग सानिध्यात साधेपणा आणी मुख्य म्हणजे आजकालच्या पार्टी लाऊड स्पिकर च्या दुनियेत. या सर्वांहून वेगळे असे फक्तं कुटुंब आणी जोडप्यांना समर्पित हे कॉटेज. अत्यंत अप्रतिम संकल्पना वाटली. क्षणाचाही विलंब न लावता आम्ही कॉन्टॅक्ट लिस्ट मध्ये दिलेल्या नंबर वर फोन केला.

We deliberately avoided weekends and booked here on Monday. We reached the cottage in just a few minutes from Alibaug. The owner of the hotel himself came forward to welcome us. A sense of simplicity, contentment and dedication was readily apparent when looking at them. He himself told the information about the entire area. And reached our room. At first I felt like I was in a village.At first I felt like I was in a village. Decided to freshen up and go to the beach. We reached the beach in ten minutes walking from there. At night we were provided with food according to our choice. We tasted amazing jevanacha in nature as per our taste. At night, before we sang, the fire was arranged. Then I enjoyed the merry-go-round of old memories next to the fireplace.

मुद्दामहून आम्ही शनिवार व रविवार हे दिवस टाळून सोमवारी येथे जागा बूक केली. अलिबाग येथून अवघ्या काही मिनिटांत आम्ही कॉटेज जवळ पोहोचलो. स्वतः हॉटेलचे मालक स्वतः आमच्या स्वागताला समोर आले. त्यांना पाहता साधेपणा, समाधान आणी समर्पणाची भावना सहज लक्षात आली. त्यांनी स्वतः संपूर्ण परिसराची माहिती सांगितली. आणी आमच्या रुम कडे पोहोचले. प्रथमतः मला अगदी गावात आल्यासारखे वाटलेप्रथमतः मला अगदी गावात आल्यासारखे वाटले. थोडे फ्रेश होऊन बीचवर जायचं ठरवलं. तेथून अगदी चालत दहा मिनिटात आम्ही बीचवर पोहोचलो. रात्री आमच्या आवडीनुसार आम्हाला जेवणाची सोय करून देण्यात आली. आमच्या आवडीनुसार निसर्गाच्या मध्ये आम्ही अप्रतिम jevanacha स्वाद घेतला. रात्री आम्ही सांगण्या आधीच शेकोटीची मांडणी केली गेली. मग काय शेकोटी च्या शेजारी जुन्या आठवणीच्या हिंदोळ्यावर रममाण झालो.

The overall atmosphere was heartwarming. We all became kids again while playing some games in it. When some young people came there to ask for rooms, they were refused. We were surprised because many rooms were downstairs. When I asked the hotel owners out of curiosity, they said very politely. That we only give rooms to families here. This rule is always followed even if the room is left down we do not let any non family group. Hearing that, it occurred to me that in this day and age, such moral watchers are very rare. Hard to find a place like this to spend free time with family.

एकंदर सभोवतालचे वातावरण मन प्रफुल्लित करीत होते. त्यांत काही गेम खेळताना पुन्हा आम्ही सर्वच लहान झालो. काही तरुण मंडळी तेथे रूम्स विचारण्यासाठी आले असता त्यांना नाकारण्यात आले. आम्ही अचंबित झालो कारण बरेच रूम खाली होते. कुतूहलाने मी हॉटेल मालकांना विचारले तेव्हा त्यांनी अगदी नम्रपणे सांगितले. की आम्ही येथे केवळ कुटुंबाला रूम देतो. हा नियम सदैव पाळतो भले रूम खाली राहिले तरी आम्ही कोणत्याही नॉन फॅमिली ग्रुपला देत नाही. ते ऐकून मनात आले की आजच्या या काळात, अशी नैतिकता पाहणारे फार क्वचित दिसून येतात. कुटुंबासमवेत मनमोकळा वेळ घालवण्यासाठी यासारखी जागा सापडणे कठीण.
