Personal Experience प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव

Every time after going to Pandharpur we would start our return journey after visiting Vithuraya so we could not see the whole of Pandharpur. So this time we decided to stay in Pandharpur for two nights. Searched for some important location through various means. Among them Vishnupada was an important place. We booked an auto rickshaw on hire from our hotel. The place seen in it was Vishnupad. About 200 mtrs from the main road on the banks of the river Chandrabhaga is a stone square and a temple on it.

दरवेळी पंढरपूरला गेल्यानंतर विठुरायाचे दर्शन घेऊन आम्ही परतीचा प्रवास सुरू करू त्यामुळे संपूर्ण पंढरपूर पाहता आले नव्हते. त्यामुळे यावेळी मुद्दामून ठरून आम्ही दोन रात्र पंढरपूर मध्ये राहण्याचे ठरवले. विविध माध्यमातून काही महत्त्वाच्या स्थानाचा शोध घेतला. त्यापैकी विष्णुपद हे महत्त्वाचे ठिकाण होते. आमच्या हॉटेलपासून आम्ही भाडेतत्त्वावर ऑटो रिक्षा बूकिंग केली. त्यातील पाहिले स्थान हे विष्णूपद होते. मुख्य रस्त्यापासून साधारण 200 mtr वर चंद्रभागा नदीच्या तीरावर एक दगडी चौथरा आणि त्यावरचे मंदिर.

This place is surrounded by water on three sides. And to reach here, a simple and neat architectural structure like a stone bridge is Vishnupada. Here there is a pillar in the center on the quadrangle. On which the footprints of Shri Krishna and the cow are clearly visible. There is another temple in the water in front of here. It is the Narada temple where one can circumambulate from the boats nearby.

तीन बाजूने पाण्याचे वेढलेले हे ठिकाण. आणी येथे पोहोचण्यासाठी दगडी सेतू अशी साधी सुबक वास्तू रचना म्हणजे विष्णुपद. येथे चौथर्‍यावर मध्यभागी एक शिळा आहे. ज्यावर श्री कृष्ण आणी गाय यांच्या पाउल खुणा स्पष्ट दिसून येतात. येथे समोर पाण्यात अजून एक मंदिर आहे. ते म्हणजे नारदाचे मंदिर जेथे शेजारी असलेल्या बोटींमधून प्रदक्षिणा मारता येते.

Janabai and Sulka जनाबाई आणी सुळका

विष्णुपदाच्या शेजारीच एक छोटेसे घर आणी त्यासमोर एक विरघळलेला सुळका आहे. त्या काळात अक्षम्य चुकीसाठी सुळावर देणे ही शिक्षा देण्यात येई. आपणास जनाबाई या संत माहीत असतीलच. असे म्हणतात की त्यांच्या पहाटेच्या ओव्या ऐकण्यासाठी. आणि त्यांना जात्यावर दळताना मदतीसाठी प्रत्यक्ष विठ्ठल रुपी कृष्ण जनाबाई च्या घरी जात. एकदिवस bhagvan तल्लीन होऊन ओव्या ऐकताना. त्यांना वेळेचा विसर पडला त्यामुळे घाईत ते मंदिरात जाण्यासाठी निघाले. त्यामुळे त्यांचे वस्त्रालंकार हे जनाबाईच्या घरीच राहिले.

At that time, that iron rod turned into liquid form. Everyone was surprised to see this God’s justice. And Janabai was freed from guilt.

ज्यावेळी  श्री विठ्ठल मंदिरातील गाभाऱ्यात गेले. त्यावेळी श्री विठ्ठलाचे अलंकार चोरीला गेले असा समज झाला. संपूर्ण पंढरपुरात शोध घेतल्यानंतर ते दागिने संत जनाबाई च्या घरात सापडले. त्यामुळे स्थानिक शासन 6कर्त्यांनी जनाबाईंना सुळावर देण्याची शिक्षा फर्मावली. पण जेव्हा जनाबाई ना सुळावर आणण्यात आले. त्यावेळी त्या लोखंडी सुळाचे द्रवरूपात रूपांतर झाले. हा भगवंताचा न्याय पाहून सर्व अचंबित झाले. आणी जनाबाई यांना  दोषांपासून मुक्त करण्यात आले.
