One of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva. It’s also a famous tourist place for a beautiful scenic view of the finest beach in Konkan located at Devgad taluka, Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra, India

भगवान शिवाच्या सर्वात जुन्या मंदिरांपैकी एक असलेले कुणकेश्वर हे ठिकाण. देवगड तालुक्यामध्ये वसलेले आहे, सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्हा, महाराष्ट्र, भारत. हे एक प्रसिद्ध पर्यटन पर्यटन स्थळ असून, येथे असलेल्या कोकणातील उत्कृष्ट समुद्र किनारपट्टीचा, सुंदर असा निसर्गरम्य समुद्र किनारा लाभला आहे. त्यामुळे येथे बरेच पर्यटक आकर्षिले जातात.

We have visited this place many times, we are sharing with you the experience of our Mumbai-Goa bike ride. We had thoroughly studied the entire road and decided on the route of our road trip. After Ratnagiri, our next place was Kunkeshwar. With a view to always exploring new roads, we chose a different route, which was closer to the beach. The journey from Ratnagiri to Kunkeshwar is about 100 km. You can see the Konkan with its natural beauty on this road.

आम्ही या ठिकाणी अनेकदा भेट दिली आहे, आम्ही आमच्या मुंबई-गोवा बाईक राईड दरम्यान आलेला अनुभव तुमच्या सोबत शेअर करत आहे. आम्ही संपूर्ण रस्त्याचा पुरेपूर अभ्यास करून, आमच्या रोड ट्रिपचा मार्ग ठरवला होता. त्यामध्ये रत्नागिरी नंतर आमचे पुढचे ठिकाण कुणकेश्वर हे होते. नेहमी नवीन नवीन रस्ते एक्सप्लोर करण्याच्या दृष्टिकोनातून, आम्ही वेगळा मार्ग निवडला, जो समुद्रकिनाऱ्या जवळून जात होता. रत्नागिरी ते कुणकेश्वर सुमारे 100 किमीचा प्रवास आहे. निसर्ग सौंदर्याने नटलेला कोकण याचे प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन आपणास या रस्त्याने होते.

Vijaydurga fort view – विजयदुर्ग किल्ल्याचे मुखदर्शन

After traveling about 45 km, the main sight of Vijaydurg fort was seen. Vijaydurg fort is a fort situated near the sea, which we saw between Ratnagiri and Kunkeshwar. A search on Google Map showed the fort approximately twenty to twenty five kilometers from the main road. Due to insufficient time we took some pictures from there and moved on. Around 5:15 in the evening we reached the top of the hill and the beauty of Kunkeshwar temple, the beach temple along with the view from Kalsa to the foothills was further enhanced. As it was evening time, it was as if the sun god had gone to rest in the middle of the sea..

सुमारे ४५ किमी गेल्यावर विजयदुर्ग किल्ल्याचे मुख्य दर्शन झाले. विजयदुर्ग किल्ला हा समुद्राच्या सानिध्यात वसलेला किल्ला असून, तो आम्हाला रत्नागिरी कुणकेश्वरचा दरम्यान दिसून आला. गुगल मॅप वर सर्च केल्यानंतर मुख्य रस्त्यापासून हा किल्ला साधारण वीस ते पंचवीस किलोमीटर अंतर दाखवण्यात आले. अपुऱ्या वेळेमुळे आम्ही तेथूनच काही प्रतिमा घेतल्या आणि पुढे निघालो. संध्याकाळी ५:१५ च्या सुमारास आम्ही डोंगराच्या माथ्यावर पोहोचलो आणि कुणकेश्वर मंदिर, अगदी कळसा पासून ते पायथ्यापर्यंत दृष्टिक्षेपात पडले त्यासोबत असलेला समुद्रकिनारा मंदिराचे सौंदर्य अजून वाढत होता. संध्याकाळची वेळ आहे असल्यामुळे सूर्यदेव जणू समुद्राच्या कुशीत विसावा घेण्यासाठी निघाले होते.

Sunset of Kunkeshwar Beach

The Sunset view of Kunkeshwar beach is so pretty. The total sky becomes orange the Sun wants to meet a sea to take a rest. Sea is also welcoming him so the overall water become a Orange. White waves 🌊 come near the temple. That orange color also cover entire area including Kunkeshwar temple. We glad to sea such a wonderful movement.

कुणकेश्वर बीचचे सूर्यास्ताचे दृश्य खूपच सुंदर आहे. संपूर्ण आकाश केशरी होते सूर्याला विश्रांती घेण्यासाठी समुद्राला भेटायचे आहे. समुद्रही त्याचे स्वागत करत आहे त्यामुळे एकूणच पाणी केशरी झाले आहे. पांढऱ्या लाटा 🌊 मंदिराजवळ येतात. त्या केशरी रंगाने कुणकेश्वर मंदिरासह संपूर्ण परिसर व्यापला आहे. अशा आश्चर्यकारक चळवळीचा आम्हाला आनंद घेता आला यास आम्ही आमचे भाग्य समजतो.

UNIQUE ARCHITECTURE

Kunkeshwar temple is the best example of unique architecture thereof It’s a multi floor temple of lord Shiva. A beautiful interior color and combination is very good so the overall look is very impressive.

कुणकेश्वर मंदिर हे अद्वितीय वास्तुकलेचे उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण आहे. हे भगवान शिवाचे बहुमजली मंदिर आहे. एक सुंदर आतील रंग आणि संयोजन खूप चांगले आहे त्यामुळे एकूण देखावा खूप प्रभावी आहे.

After climbing a few steps of the main temple, Kunkeshwar Shivling was seen. Considering the limitations of the temple, we did not take any photographs there. Because it is our responsibility to keep the holy place intact and Darshan needs to be a spirit.

मुख्य मंदिराच्या काही पायऱ्या चढून गेल्यानंतर कुणकेश्वर शिवलिंग दृष्टीस पडले मंदिराच्या मर्यादांचे भान ठेवून आम्ही कोणतेही छायाचित्र तेथे काढले नाही. कारण तेथील पावित्र अबाधित ठेवणे ही आपली जबाबदारी आहे आणि दर्शन हे मनोभावे होणे गरजेचे आहे.

LOOKS OF SHIVLING – शिवलिंगाचे रूप

Kunkeshwar Shivling is made of Black stone its looks like the oldest statue around 400-year-old. It looks remarkably beautiful from the inside and is the decoration of flowers was amplify the beauty. It’s around 10 Ft higher than the base of the temple.

कुणकेश्वर शिवलिंग काळ्या पाषाणापासून बनवलेले असून ते सुमारे ४०० वर्षांच्या जुन्या मूर्तीसारखे दिसते. ती आतून विलक्षण सुंदर दिसते आणि फुलांची सजावट सौंदर्य वाढवत होती. हे मंदिराच्या पायथ्यापेक्षा सुमारे 10 फूट उंच आहे.

HISTORY OF KUNKESHWAR TEMPLE

अनेक लेखक तसेच पुरातत्व विभागातील संस्था. कुणकेश्वर मंदिराचा इतिहास शोधला आहे. मंदिराचा जीर्णोद्धाराचे काम छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी केल्याचे त्यांच्या लक्षात आले. मुघलांपासून हे ठिकाण वाचवण्यासाठी त्यांनी या ठिकाणी भेट दिली. त्यांनी काही अफवा पसरवल्या की हे मंदिर इराणी उद्योगपतींनी बांधले आहे, अशी अफवा आणि गनिमी काव्यामुळे हे मंदिर मुघल सरदारांपासून वाचवण्यास मदत मिळाली.

  • Kunkeshwar Temple timing Morning 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2 am to 6 pm.
  • If you like water sports – Malvan and Tarkarli is the place for you just 45 km away.
  • Best time to visit is winter or in evening because this is place near sea so temperature is little bit high in Summer or sunny days.
  • If you have your vehicle, I suggest going through the coastal route because it will give you more beautiful viewing opinions.
  • If you want the fastest route, You me select Pune – Bangalore highways via Gagan bavda Ghat.
  • कुणकेश्वर मंदिराची वेळ सकाळी 7:00 ते दुपारी 12:00 आणि 2 ते संध्याकाळी 6.
  • तुम्हाला जलक्रीडा आवडत असल्यास – तुमच्यासाठी फक्त ४५ किमी अंतरावर मालवण आणि तारकर्ली हे ठिकाण आहे.
  • हिवाळा किंवा संध्याकाळ ही भेट देण्याची सर्वोत्तम वेळ आहे कारण हे ठिकाण समुद्राजवळ आहे त्यामुळे उन्हाळ्यात किंवा उन्हाच्या दिवसात तापमान थोडे जास्त असते.
  • तुमच्याकडे तुमचे वाहन असल्यास, मी किनारपट्टीच्या मार्गाने जाण्याचा सल्ला देतो कारण ते तुम्हाला अधिक सुंदर दृश्य मते देईल.
